Competitions 2018-19

2018/19 ST GEORGE FUTSAL SPRING/SUMMER COMPETITION REGISTRATIONS OPEN!

Places are limited!!

School holidays and the long weekend fall at the start of October so we have been given permission from Council to start the Monday competition on 24 September 2018 (we will then break for long weekend and school holidays and resume in October).

 

COMPETITION STARTS MONDAY 24 SEPTEMBER 2018 FOR U/11 - ADULTS & SATURDAY 13 OCTOBER 2018 FOR U6-U10 

Competition Venue:  The Green, Kyle Bay (cnr Merriman St & Kyle Pde)

 

Registration Dates: Sunday 5, 12 & 19 August 2018 - 6-8pm

Registration Venue:  The Pinnacle, South Hurstville RSL, 72 Connells Point Road, South Hurstville.

Please pre-register your team via email to moya@stgeorgefutsalclub.com.au prior to attending registrations and registration forms will be sent to you for your players. 

(Please allocate one person to pre-register your team so we do not have double-ups. Thank you).

 

Fees remain the same as last season:

EARLY BIRD FEES (prior to 19 August): includes jersey, insurance, game/ref fees

- U/6-U/17 - $165.00 per player - U/18-Adults - $195 per player

FEES (after 19 August): includes jersey (+ later order charges), insurance, game/ref fees

- U/6-U/17 - $205.00 per player - U/18-Adults - $245.00 per player

 

PLAY DATES:- 

5-10 YEARS - SATURDAY MORNINGS 8AM-1PM (approx)
 
2018 -October 13, 20, 27; November 3, 10, 17, 24; December 1, 8 , 15
2019 - February 2, 9
Finals (9yrs + 10yrs only) - 16 February 2019
 
(Dates may change due to wet weather- wet weather rounds will be added as needed)
 
FREE TRAINING FOR JUNIOR MEMBERS (held Monday afternoons - 6 week block commencing after the season starts - details will be emailed out after comp starts)
 
11 YEARS - ADULTS - MONDAY AFTERNOON/EVENINGS 5PM-8:30PM (approx) -
Monday comps run in 2 year age groups i.e. U/12; U/14/ U/16 etc depending on numbers

2019 - February 4, 11

ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A REGISTRATION FORM.
 

 

  • All games will be played in natural light. Field lights may be used for the end of the later games.
  • The late September/October start will allow Council to conduct field maintenance so that a good growth of grass will cover the field prior to season start.
  • We will again employ the services of a Greenkeeper to work on The Green (as needed, in addition to Council's maintenance) to bring the field up to a suitable standard for the start of our competition.
  • The February games will allow teams to play pre-season games at a time when Councils do not allow football on local fields
